Just starting out as a food writer and
sub-editor with Burrp.com, in Mumbai. Squid Ink is not an attempt to critique every restaurant in
the city; instead it's my way of trying to increase my knowledge of food, begin
cooking what I love and trying to know the stories behind every dish, cuisine
and restaurant.
I’m an adventurous eater and I’ll eat anything
with no pre-set biases. I love to cook and wish to cook more; and would love
positive and negative feedback about the blog and my writing style.
I am not a foodie and would hate to be
called one. My favourite days are ones where I can cook a small dish or help
mom in the kitchen or go out and eat a dish from my bucket list; or simply read
an article, story or book. I’m obsessed with photographing every restaurant
meal I eat and looking at beautiful food photographs on Instagram makes my day.
